With just two hits from Brittany Cervantes and Nerissa Myers the Dawgs fall to shut out pitching from Pride’s Keilani Ricketts and Jordan Taylor.
A lead off walk to Kelly Kretschman in the 4th and base hit by Sierra Romero gives the Pride two runners on with no outs. Lauren Chamberlain hits down the third base line to score Kretschman putting the Pride up by one.
Pride’s Chelsea Goodacre starts off the bottom of the 5th with a solo shot over the right field fence. Pride up by 2. Andrea Duran follows the homerun with a stand up double, Courtney Ceo to pinch run for Duran. Megan Wiggins draws a walk to bring up Kretschman who bunt, loading the bases for Romero. Romero hits a sac fly to score Ceo from third. Pride win it 0-3.
