Biography:

Morgan Melloh has shattered pitching records in any and every category of where she has played. During her three-year career at Fresno State she was a multi-recipient of All-American, All-Region, and all-conference honors. In 2009, she became the fourth Division 1 pitcher to throw back-to-back 400 strikeout seasons in her first two collegiate seasons. She was also listed among the nation’s best in five pitching categories, including four top 12 rankings: No. 2 in strikeouts (450), No. 5 in shutouts (17), No. 7 in victories (30), and No. 9 in strikeouts per 7/IP (9.9). Morgan’s collegiate career speaks for itself as she holds the Indiana school record and Big Ten Conference record for strikeouts in Big Ten games in a season. The lefty posted her best two statistical seasons of her NPF career in 2015 and 2016 with the Dallas Charge where she amassed 129 strikeouts in 57 appearances. She pitched a total of 148.1 innings in regular season with a 2.5 ERA in 2015 good enough for the second-best ERA on the team with a top 10 finish in the NPF. Melloh will be entering her 5th season in the NPF in combination with a 4-year pitching career in the Japan Softball League with team Honda.
