The Ragin’ Cajun centerfielder boasted a stand-out career at ULL. In her Sophomore Year Cherry hit the Cajuns only inside-the-park home run of the season against Western Kentucky. The outfielder recorded a career-high four hits in ULL win over then-ranked #24 Tulsa on February 11th, 2012 along with two multi-hit games against Arizona State in the Super Regional. In her Senior campaign, Brianna batted .393 with a team-high 65 runs scored, 55 RBIs, 12 doubles, and 14 home runs along with a conference-high 137 total bases, leading the conference in hits, runs, and triples (4). Cherry was drafted in the 2013 NPF draft to the Akron Racers and was later picked up by the Dallas Charge Organization for two seasons. In her NPF career (2013-16), Cherry has posted a .228 average that includes 59 hits, 7 doubles, and 4 home runs. She has amassed 22 RBIs, 56 total bases, and a .301 slugging percentage.
